Zlatan Ibrahimovich who was crowned EPL player of the Month claims he shares a part in the December Goal of the Month.
The red devils striker Ibrahimovich has assumed responsibility for the scorpion kick that Henrikh Mkhitaryan used to send the ball to the back of the net in the game against Sunderland.
The Manchester United striker scored a good number of goals in the month.of December which helped him bag the award, while the Armenian international Mkhitaryan went home with the trophy for best Goal of the Month from his acrobatic effort in the game against the Black Cats.
The Swedish striker also attempted to take credit for his part in Henrikh's goal.The striker while speaking to EASPORTS.com,said"It was an amazing goal. I mean, it’s a goal you cannot describe or even really dream about. You can, but to make it real is much more difficult.
"I’m happy for him because it’s a goal that people will remember forever. I’m also happy because I was involved in it. So I’m happy for him and for the fans, because when the fans get to see a goal like that, it is something amazing – it’s the beauty of the game."
The striker was asked did if he showed Mkhitaryan the technique he unleashed to get one gaol home,the 35-year-old revealed that the duo had worked on the skill in the training ground.
"Yes, we trained a couple of weeks before and I said exactly how to do the movement, as the pass needed to be perfect. So it went well," Ibrahimovic admitted.
